+ 1400 m, - 1400

Distance: 8 km

Length: 6 to 8 hours

To make the ascension easier, camp as close as possible to Mugalig Sar. Leave very early in the morning, count 4 hours 1 way.
This summit is only for well equipped people and knowing mountaineering. Crampons and gaiters are a minimum!

Shimshal trek represent a certain commitment, Mugalig even more, think of it. From there, a spectacular view on surrounding summits and on Shuiveraz river running 1800 m below.

Panorama on Braldu valley

Departure: 4650 m

Arrival: 5050 m

+ 600 m, - 600

Distance: 8 km

Length: 3 to 5 hours

This peace of mountain located further down on the valley is inescapable; it will offer you an unforgettable panorama.

Cross the village and follow the main trail which leads you in valley bottom. Flat and full of pebbles, it takes half an hour to cross it. On the other side, go back up walking along the left hillside. When you arrive near a creek, ascend as high as possible, before taking a left walking up an unreal slope.

The submittal part of the peak a bit higher requires paying attention while walking. The last section on a few blocks has to be climbed. When you reach the summit, the view is outstanding, unclimbed 6000 peaks are legion. With some luck, it would be apparently possible to see K2, let me know!

Water: A creek on the way up.
